Cucuron is a village of 2000 inhabitants, situated in the Vaucluse, in the heart of The Great Luberon, also called the
Blue
Mountain. With 300 days of sun per year, Cucuron is a marvellous starting point for touring the Provence-Alpes-Cote-d’Azur region ,famous for it’s festivals.
Discover it’s riches by means of guided tours starting from the Tourist Office and admire the fauna and flora during walks in the Luberon Parc and it’s Biosphere Reserve.

Cucuron offers splendid possibilities of accommodation and restaurants. Thus you can appreciate different specialities (wines, olive oil, honey, truffles and different products based on lavender).
After a good hike on foot or bicycle you can rest around the "Bassin de l’etang", (a large pool) in the centre of the village and under two hundred year old Plane Trees, listening to the song of the cicadas.
